1. Data Controller

In accordance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed by Safran & Partners Law Firm (“Data Controller”) within the scope described below.

2. Personal Data Processed

The following personal data may be processed through our website (www.safran.av.tr) or other communication channels:

  • Identity Information: Name, surname
  • Contact Information: Phone number, email address
  • Legal Transaction and Request Information
  • Website Usage Information: IP address, log records, cookie data
  • Other Information: Information shared within contact forms and email correspondence

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data are processed within the conditions for processing personal data specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK for the following purposes:

  • Providing legal consultancy and attorney services,
  • Communicating with clients, prospective clients, and visitors,
  • Evaluating requests and applications,
  • Fulfilling legal obligations,
  • Ensuring website security,
  • Performing retention and reporting obligations arising from applicable legislation.

4. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are collected through automated or non-automated means via:

  • Forms filled out on the website,
  • Email, telephone, and other communication channels,
  • Physical or electronic environments;

and processed based on the following legal grounds:

  • Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract,
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations,
  • Establishment, exercise, or protection of a right,
  • Explicit consent.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK, only to:

  • Authorized public institutions and organizations as required by legislation,
  • Judicial authorities and relevant official authorities.

Your personal data are not transferred to any third parties other than those specified above.

6. Retention Period of Personal Data

Your personal data are retained strictly for:

  • The periods stipulated in the relevant legislation, or
  • The period required by the processing purpose.

Upon the expiration of these periods, your personal data are erased, destroyed, or anonymized.

7. Rights of the Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data are processed,
  • Request information if your personal data have been processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
  • Know the third parties to whom your personal data are transferred,
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
  • Request the erasure or destruction of data in accordance with the KVKK,
  • Object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
  • Request compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.

8. Application Method

You may submit your requests within the scope of the KVKK to info@safran.av.tr via:

  • In writing,
  • Registered Electronic Mail (KEP),
  • Secure electronic signature,
  • The email address previously notified to the Data Controller and registered in its system.

Applications will be concluded free of charge as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest, in line with the KVKK and relevant legislative provisions.
